Pendant - Solid Boulder opal Gp 157

Solid boulder opal from Queensland, Australia set in 14 carat rustic gold.

The opal has lime green shades that almost become neon in electric light. The design is made so that a branch twists over the opal and becomes part of the hemp through which the chain is put. The rustic gold goes really well with the green color.

The pendant measures 11 x 27 mm.

The chain is not included in the price.

NB. As it is a solid opal, it can withstand water, but cannot withstand impacts and strong solvents.

The opal is also a relatively soft gemstone, and can therefore get small scratches with diligent use.

If it gets small scratches, it can be polished again.
