Solid boulder opal from Queensland, Australia set in rustic sterling silver.

The pendant measures 15 x 28 mm.

NB. Since it is a solid opal, it can withstand water, but cannot withstand impacts and strong solvents.

The opal is also a relatively soft gemstone, and can therefore get small scratches, which can be polished away.
